Liberty Tana Lawn™
Liberty Tana Lawn™
Liberty Tana Lawn™ cotton fabric was already a well established product being sold from Liberty’s London store by the 1930s. The fabric was named after Lake Tana in Ethiopia where the long-staple cotton was originally sourced and then spun into a fine, lustrous textile and printed in iconic patterns in England. Cotton is now sourced from Egypt, India and the US and the fabric is printed and milled in Italy near Lake Como. The fabric boasts a 240 thread count and Liberty Fabrics has a print archive of over 50,000 patterns.
